Could have sworn there was a thread on this show but maybe it was talked about in a
separate thread. Anyway, it just started back up on Monday nights on HBO. I think this
is a pretty underrated show and is one of the smarter comedies on tv. Watched the first
episode this morning and there were some funny moments in it. Kind of a slow start but
it should get better.

Absolutely, probably his best since Cheers. Galifinakis has his moments as well.

Better episode last night in my opinion. Anyone else watching? If not I may just let this thread die.

Schwartzmann is the new Ben Stiller in my mind. Just ruins anything he is in.

I hadn't heard that they had cancelled this. One of my guilty pleasures on Sunday evenings this past fall.
I'll admit it was hit or miss but I enjoyed the characters.

I like Bored to Death quite a bit, but Ted Danson's best post-Cheers role came in the first season of Damages, in which he played the charismatic, diabolical and self-righteous villain, Arthur Frobisher. If you haven't seen season one of this show, I highly recommend it.

Midge, he has been surprisingly good in CSI: Las Vegas this year as well. I was skeptical but he is a definite
upgrade from Fishburne. Possibly one of the more underrated actors out there as he can do drama or comedy
equally well. I am not familiar with the show Damages. I'll have to look into that.

The first season of Damages is really riveting and creepy in the best ways. Great performances from Danson, Glenn Close, and Rose Byrne. It's available on DVD. I highly recommend it.
