For those of us in their late 30s and 40s who watched these growing up, is there anyone else who thinks the people that made them were smoking something serious?

And I'm sure I'm not the only one who can still sing along with the songs. Thursday was Santa Claus is Coming to Town and I was singing along with The First Toymaker to the King.

I don't think the guys making kid's shows back then were even very subtle about it, e.g., H.R. Pufnstuf.
