Love that movie. How was it different?

Only similarity is the name. In the book there are no gladiators or anything like that. The whole premise is that a normal person becomes the running man and the entire society/tv viewers help hunt him down. They get money if they can video record him, money if they turn him into the cops, etc. It ends up being about a guy who is on the run and getting into one situation after another, usually involving hostages and anything else he can think of to help stay alive. I won't tell you how it ends, but its pretty awesome.
