What will be worse, this or the new Anchorman? I loved both of the originals but I think this sequel will be slightly worse. Jeff Daniels hasnt worked in a decade and Jim Carrey lost his fastball (if he ever had one) back in the 90s.

I thought they made a sequel to "Dumb and Dumber" already. It was just as bad, if memory serves. "Dumber & Dumberer" was the name of that film.

That reminds of Will Ferrell. I like all the goofy roles, but one of his best roles to me was when he was in Stranger Than Fiction, where he was mostly serious.

"adapation" will always be my favorite kaufman movie but "eternal sunshine" is great. kid's right on the money; but i think carrey's best was in "the truman show".

i actually am more optimistic about this sequel than "anchorman". "dumb & dumber" carries itself like the three stooges whereas "anchorman" is pure satire and is self-contained. there's a better chance for d&d 2 to work than "anchorman 2".
