Any of you guys who ever watch TBS had to have seen a commercial for this new series
about 100 times. Well, it finally premieres tonight at 9pm CST. Not sure if I am going to
tune in for it live but figured I would at least DVR it and see what it is like. Basically appears
to be a buddy comedy with 4 guys who all have different kinds of personalities and try to
pick up chicks and go out etc... Danny Masterson from That 70's Show appears to be the
lead character. I just skimmed the reviews for the show and they were mixed as to be
expected. I will say that more appeared to be negative than positive but I figure I will
give it two 30 minute episodes to make my decision whether to continue or not. Anyone
else going to check this out?

I'm tired of hearing these promos during NBA Hoops on TNT, but they're pretty funny when they have Dick Stockton or Marv Albert read them.

Considering how bad all of the other TBS original programming has been, I'm just gonna go ahead and not watch it.

I would tend to agree with you but summer programming in general is horrible so I figured I would
see for myself. If the pilot episode sucks I will cut my losses and move on.

Is it as good as Frank TV? That was probably the funniest show of all-time.

A majority of my posts are sarcastic, DB. This was definitely one of them. Those Frank TV ads during the MLB playoffs were annoying beyond belief.

I thought you meant the Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez comedy. That seems like a movie TBS would run ad nauseaum.

Managed to stomach the first two episodes. One last night and one this morning. There
were a few mildly humorous situations but the dialogue is really weak. The whole thing
is based on picking up chicks, goofing off at work, some racy language and innuendo, and
some mid-grade eye candy. Not too good. I would rather watch that stupid but much funnier
show on Comedy Central, " Workaholics ".

I would consider Conan to be a decent addition to TBS. Granted I like their reruns better than most of their original programming. But you guys are making it sound like it's the old UPN or something.

I like Conan a lot and TBS does welll with reruns but it appears they dump most of the money into TNT
sports and productions. TBS is the red headed stepchild ( Conan pun intended ).

Danny Masterson was much better on That 70s Show. I think this show is somewhere along the lines of that "Man Up" show that got canceled. It's a program dedicated to grown men who act like they're still in high school with those trendy "man" expressions from beer commercials such as "man cave," "man date" and "man up".

Yeah, I kind of liked Masterson on That 70's show but you can see now how he was being carried by the rest
of the cast. He can't carry a show like this by himself. Although, to be fair to him I am not sure I can think of
anyone who could.

Even the best actors are going to look bad if the script is poorly written.
