It was pretty solid, great acting, good dialogue and a awesome cast. Voight is going to own this role.

I already hate Ray's wife....time to divorce her and fuck that Disney girl until she strokes out.

I just have a feeling it's going to be good for a few seasons and then decline in quality....

After first two episodes I am hooked. It isn't the best show but for summer fun it has not disappointed me
in the least. They did a 60 second preview of the rest of the season at the end of the second episode and
I believe this will keep my interest without much trouble.

Watched the first two episodes last night..I like it, hope it doesn't become another *brotherhood * n disappear for no reason. Voight is perfect for that role.

I hope people are watching this. It has been really good so far. I could watch an entire episode of just Jon Voight doing his thing with that role. Perfect casting on that one.

Ray's wife is so annoying and ugly though. It boggles my mind.

This show is fucking awesome. That blondie is so hot! Schreiber and Scarface Dude are badasases, and Jon Voight is right-on like you guys said.

That dopey Bunchy fuck is annoying, though.

Ray's wife alternates between "Shes's blah. Whoa! Now, with that outfit on, Damn, I would fuck the shit out of her" and ambivalence for me.

Frank Whaley's pencilneck FBI nerd is the most annoying character to me.

Awesome, too is gonna be James Woods' role as "Sully" comin' up!

HOOKED!

I didn't know James Woods was coming on board. I'm sure they'll come up with a good character for him. Good or evil?? Cool!

He's the Boston mob boss who Mickey ripped-off for that half-mildo.

Looks like Ray will be soliciting him to kill Mickey because he can't get the cops to do the job.

Awesome!

Hooked.

Ray's wife though is a bad imitation of Carmela from the Sopranos and the actress from Zero Dark Thirty. This is a Jon Voight show though as many of youse pointed out. The guys is creepy as hell.

Some bullet points based on recent episodes:

- Bunchee is growing on me
- Terry is too predictable
- Angry, rebellious, unattractive, teenage daughter dating someone from a different background character is about as original as the original pancake (waffle) house
- The show would benefit from featuring Ezra's character more prominently

I've missed the last 3 episodes due to Time Warner Cable dispute. Disappointing.

I was about 5 episodes behind but slowly catching up. Last episode I watched they just introduced James
Woods to the storyline. Voight continues to act his ass off.

Looking forward to catching the finale via On Demand tonight. This has been a real surprise and pleasure to
watch over the summer and also catching up on it early this fall. Showtime has been an unexpected surprise
lately.

Great show. Needed more of the hott blondie singer chick, though.

It was a pretty decent finale although it seemed rushed and the James Woods character could have been fleshed
out a lot more. I am happy that they picked it up for another season, no idea what is in store for next season.
The hot blonde will likely be back again.

Shoutout to Jon Voight for winning a Golden Globe for Best Supporting actor in this role as
Ray's father. I can't wait for season two to come out. He deserved the award for his work
on this series.

It's back this weekend! I'm gonna have to On Demand the last few episodes from last season. This was a
very good show and if you didn't give it a chance you still have time to catch up and get with the program.

Nice to hear. I rewatched the last 3 episodes from last season and will catch the season opener
this evening. Ray Donovan may be my favorite character on TV right now. That is saying something
with all the good shows on.

Ray's wife and Bunchy make it hard to like this show. Love Ray and his dad but Bunchy is so annoying. He's cartoonish in how effing dumb and clueless he is. We get it. You were molested. Now why are you so stupid?

I like the show a lot but this is a great point. I think Bunchy is an idiot because of the molesting combined with the CTE from boxing. BernStine jerks off to every scene he is in.

Ray's wife is just annoying and ugly.

I know the other brother has Parkinson's because of boxing. It also affected his eyesight. That married chick? Yikes. Of course, he's no prize (fighter) either.

I didn't know Bunchy also partook in the sweet science. I guess you miss stuff or it blurs together when you binge watch an entire season in a few days.

He's usually half drunk a lot of the time as well. I like the oldest brother though, he is a pretty good actor. I
always notice that he keeps up with his hand twitching at all times.

Maybe I'm wrong. I thought the other brother was a decent boxer that had a little career but Bunchy was a shitty fighter that got his ass kicked on the regular.

The nurse that the parkinson's brother is banging is the Lotion in the Basket chick from Silence of the Lambs...

Bunchy makes Fredo seem like an ass kicker. He's played way too over the top for me.

I'm hoping now that they took care of that character from his past at the end of last season that maybe he
will be able to sack up and be a productive member of the Donovan clan. Somehow I see him as always
being the weak link and possibly getting the others hurt or killed though. We shall see.
