Dana Carvey was the most talented guy in the history of SNL.

It's weird that he didn't kill it with movies like many of the less talented SNL guys did. I don't understand that. I mean he did the Wayne's World movies and a few other things. But Sandler and Ferrell do a movie a year at least. Most of them suck.

I'm not sure Dana has ever made me laugh, Farley, Hartman and Rock were all real funny.

Rock never did anything funny on SNL. Granted, they didn't use him much. He had some good stand up specials on HBO. But Rock's movies suck. He's not a good comedic actor.

mike meyers was the most talent snl ever had. he always was/is good no matter what he does. dick of a person, but extremely good comedic actor.

So far this episode with Louis CK is the funniest one in about six months. Good things happen when every skit isn't about Trump or Conway.

Phil Hartman was by far the most talented sketch comedian the show ever had. Chris Farley was loud and fat.

Last night's show was pretty good. The monologue was hilarious.

Louis CK's complete inability to do an Eastern European accent was pretty funny as well.

Carvey was on Maron's WTF recently and blamed himself for ruining his film career with the overacting in Wayne's World 2. He said there was good money on these corporate events and he was doing them and then after a couple years realized, all I am doing is corporate stuff and I'm not getting any publicity, but it was sort of too late at that point. Oh, and that Dana Carvey show didn't really help matters either.

I had a few laughs at the stakeout skit, the mechanics who initially acted like they didn't watch RuPaul's Drag Race skit (Moynihan's dancing was funny), and the Star Trek skit.

The review on the A.V. Club called the episode "exuberantly funny", which I do not agree with. I also thought it was kind of predictable how the mechanics watching RuPaul's Drag Race skit was going to turn out, but he didn't:



Ok...I think it was a funny skit but "exhilarating" seems like a hell of a stretch.

Michael Che reminds me of Goff. In every episode of Weekend Update he makes some lame race joke "Look at all these white people smiling. That can't be good! Huh-huh, huh-huh." and a joke involving his womanizing.

No matter how loud Leslie Jones yells or how much she talks about sex, she's still not going to be funny.

If anything actually is funny (recent example the original Sean Spicer but) you'll see about it online and there will be a clip waiting for you... Makes watching the show not necessary.

Chris Pine is a good actor, but they didn't do him any favors.

I wonder who has control on what cast members are working. Vanessa Bayer seemed to be in more skits while Cecily Stong was in like 1.
