Yesterday (4/27) Wilbon was crapping all over the NFL Draft. He said he watches more college football than anyone -- season ticket holder at Northwestern (he had to work that in), then goes home and watches several more games -- but doesn't know any of the players in the draft...has no idea who these players are.

How the hell can you watch that much college football but not know who the players are, especially the guys going in the first and second rounds?

Then he did the "Why do people care?" thing. Well, NFL football is a pretty popular sport and people would like to know who is going to be playing for their team next year. I don't think that's a big mystery.

What is a big mystery, at least to me, is Michael Wilbon's popularity. Every time I heard him on Silvy and Waddle I am unimpressed.

Hate they have to let him speak to suffice the mother ship.

But they bow down to him like "Wilbon said so" Ughhh.....

If the guy knew his stuff, I would love to hear him, but he reads SI and then comes on the air.

ESPN requires that you be boring so they don't offend any soccer moms who might hear about it on facebook.

I can't hear his name without saying aloud how Dan Patrick used to say it. I think he was mocking Steve Spurrier's pronunciation. Wilbun!

Yes. Figured it was obvious sarcasm, since he can't through an interview without mentioning his Chicago ties six hundred times.

I know, so was mine. He says it at least 50 times in a half hour.

Pardon the Interruption was pretty cool 14 years ago.
