To be honest, I can see Hicks point of view. I know what Waddle was trying to say. But when he described the brutal nature of the injury in detail, I can see how Hicks doesn't want to hear that. And it pissed him off.

If he just said "Yeah, just like you didn't want to get injured" it might have been received better.

So I'm with Hicks on this one.

Most unlikeable player on this team is Cohen. The guy never said a word last year and now he is constantly trash talking.

There were a lot of below average white receivers in the 80s and 90s from other teams that I wouldn't know if you told me their names. Nor would you. So I'm not gonna knock him for that.

It's Tom Waddle. He's on the radio. Some how we think he was a great WR because he's on the radio. He had a few good games. But he wasn't good.

If Hicks cannot handle Waddle and Silvy's softball interviews then he really is a sensitive little bitch. Waddle is about as easygoing and vanilla as any chicago sports media personality yet Hicks found a way to be outraged by a rather innocuous joke by Waddle. Hicks got on his moral high-horse about an obvious misunderstanding, it makes Akiem look bad and makes the team look even more unlikable. If there is a team the 2019 Chicago Bears are starting to resemble it's the 2004 Chicago Cubs.
