Silvy was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. He's talking about it now.

He wants to hear about other people's experiences and wants everyone's support but doesn't want people to say "Sorry..." when they find out he has it, because he wants to kick its ass.

I think he’s mentioned having had several endoscopies looking for some throat issues last couple years . I’m guessing whatever throat issues he was having had something to do with this .

Not my favorite talker, but no issue with him. I go back to the the beating he used to take from Bill Simonson when The HUGE show was on 1000....Simonson was such a prick to him and Silvy always acted like a pro.

Sad to hear this and hope he kicks it's ass.

Silvy is a great guy. I feel bad for him having a partner who is so inert and uninteresting. I'd listen more if he were partnered with someone--anyone--else. Kick its ass, Silvy.

Silvy said earlier this week that he only has one more chemo treatment left. Hopefully he will be done with it for good after that. I don't think he took too much time off of work during his treatment, either. :salut:

W & S had 2 of their funniest bits I've heard from them.

They played an old Waddle United Way psa. The director kept telling Waddle to speak slower & more softly. The finished psa was pretty hilarious.

Then Jesse Rogers was on. I noticed he and B Levine are big on breaking stories. Rogers behind the scenes wanted an extra segment for the big news that the Cubs pa announcer was leaving, possible with celebrities filling in temporarily. The guys then debated if it was big news.

Then a producer told the story where Mac destroyed him for letting B Levine break in Mac, J & H with breaking news that the Cubs were leaving Kerry Woods locker open to honor him after he left.
