Turned it on…kind of rambling and not really speaking to the Bears situation specifically. More so seems to be interested in making soldier field a better destination.

She’s created a team to explore how to do that now that the Bears are purchasing land outside the city.

She’s also now suggesting there are plenty of city lots that’d be competitive with what Arlington heights is offering.

One comment she made that I think kind of seals things - and it was quick, so I could be wrong - but I’m pretty sure she said anything that resulted in the bears owning soldier field or a stadium on the museum campus was a dealbreaker.

Given what Bears can do in AH even sweaty teddy couldn’t be dumb enough to agree to that.

the bears are moving to arlington heights as long as that land deal goes through. there's no way the city can put together an offer that is going to match having 320 contiguous acres.

Chicago has zero plots of land that can rival AH.

The access thing and the ‘I’ve just formed a committee thing’ strike me as somebody announcing actions that should’ve been considered years ago.
