Alright, I think this could be funny getting Sean to answer this. Tomorrow at about 9:15am (or throughout the day, though all at once would be funny) let's all write Sean an email asking this simple question...

"Sean, have you ever been wrong?"

Sean's the type of guy that probably will answer it on air. He might quip "no" and move on because it'll piss him off or he'll tell us he has been but then go on for five minutes and by the end of it there was a good reason why he was wrong all three times in his life.

Again, I like Sean, but he's just got to chill a bit.

Any takers on this e-mail for tomorrow?

By the way, that Gnarls Barkley cd is really good. Video for Crazy is one of the best I've seen in years too.

Their cover of the Violent Femmes' "Gone Daddy Gone" and "Just a Thought" are spectacular.

If you guys like Danger Mouse's beats, make sure you check out his collaborations with MF Doom (Danger Doom, with many Adult Swim characters making an appearance), and also his mash-up album of Jay-Z and The Beatles for The Grey Album a couple years ago.

Also, the new Mission of Burma, The Obliterati, is excellent, as well as Powder Burns by The Twilight Singers.

I like the idea Ryan-it sure beats the Todd Walker page! I'd participate, but will be out of the office until closer to 11a. Put an update on here for those of us who dont catch the show tomorrow though, if it gets Doug to switch the station, it must be good

MU, go ahead and send an e-mail today. The rest will come in tomorrow and they'll get the idea. Like I said, I think Sean will be a good sport about it and answer it..or he'll call all of us...or me, a jerk or something. He's been all about calling caller's names lately. Someone actually complimented him and then told him he thought he was being a bit too lovey dovey with Dusty and then he started calling the caller/e-mailer names. It was really bizarre and not the first time. I think he'd fit in better at The Score, haha.

Sean,

I'm just wondering, have you ever been wrong?

Thanks

Paul in Homer Glen

At the very least, we'll find out if he has been turned on to this message board by Mac and Jurko (and the rest over there that don't admit to reading it).

Just make sure someone posts about any mentions this gets, since I won't be able to listen.

You guys are going to send all these emails. Spaceball is then going to put a spin on it and send info to Teddy Greenstein about how many more emails S&R gets than S&C. Then we all get to read in the Trib, how great Salsbury is because he is getting so many emails and calls. His style of yelling gets people involved...etc. Then Greenstein will conclude that national guys can come into Chicago (Say Kerry Wood(s), tells us Sox play at "Chisox") and be successful.

The best way to show Sideshow Shawn that we hate him is to not listen at all. I'm actually in the minority when it comes to Rosenbloom; he has that old-school smoke 8 packs of cigarettes a day voices--always liked his columns and his radio shows. But, out with Salsbury--I haven't listened once and I will continue to avoid this d. bag...GO BACK TO BRISTOL AND SMOKE OFF JOHN CLAYTON YOU ASS CLOWN!

It's a little early to have built up this much hostility. Give the guy a chance to develop.

I agree. My only thing is to call him out on he has yet to ever admit being somewhat wrong or that anyone else has a validated point that just happens to differ from his. We just need to keep him real a little bit.

Ok, I don't think I need to give dingleshawnberry anytime to develop. I gave him time to develop over the years on ESPN, but he believes bringing his Scream Louder Than Everyone Else Because It Creates Controversy and Ratings schtick to radio...and it's horrible.

Dolphin, I expect more from you.

Local sports radio, with its caller heavy content and microanalization of a small number of teams is different than a national show twice a week. Give the guy some time.

Ha, well I can find errors like that on all of the shows we listen to. That's a bit nit picky. Mac said the Cubs were playing the Mariners on Tuesday so I think you might be fishing a little too hard.

I've been boycotting you guys for about a week or so, but after listening
for the first time today, I realized I missed hearing Rosenbloom........
: )
and Sean's o.k. too. I do listen to The Huddle every week.
