To be honest. It's not such a bad idea. You got alot of people just waiting around. At least you'll have an engaged audience.

You have to be kidding me Bear? Have you ever stopped at an Oasis?

It's people stopping to use a bathroom and get a burger and get back on the road. Besides the hookers, drug dealers and truck drivers, there is no reason to even stop at an oasis.

You can barley get an engaged crowd at a bar remote..I'm not trying to pick a fight with ya but it's a dumb idea in my book.And it even sounds low rent to try and ask your listeners to come on out to the oasis and have a Wendy's frosty with us..

I think the FAA and the Chicago police department would have a problem with two guys trying to do a radio show in the United Terminal.

I'm sure the next week the Talaban would be setting up shop to have their own talk show about the world cup .

Yeah good point. Ya got me. I've never heard of the Oasis I don't fly much. Nor am I around O'hare much.

At first the concept seems ok, but when I thought about it, it started to seem lame.

Most of the people who regularly fly in and out O'Haire are busy, busy people, who probably haven't heard of the show and have no connection to them. The rest are out-of-towners who have not heard of ESPN 1000.

It's called the O'Hare Oasis but really has nothing to do with the airport. It's on the Tri-State near Irving Park Road. Airport travellers wouldn't be stopping there.
