I'll start by saying it is always nice to give to charity. Salisbury gives sholorships to deprived kids in his yearly event. But my God the method he uses to determine what kid gets the scholorship is the most god awful barbaric thing I ever heard of.

He has kids right an essay and read it to a group of celebrities. Whoever has the most terrible life wins the scholorship. That is sick and discusting. He told a story about a past winner where the kid witnessed his mother shooting their abusive father. Ding, Ding, Ding. Winner. Send that kid to college.

I can just see the back room arguments to determine the winner. "Well that kid's dad burned him with ciggaretts, but I think its trumped by the kid who had his father throw him out the 3rd floor window."

I can't beleive he has the kids read these things in a public settings with celebritys judging this. Jesus Christ Salisbury there has to be a better way of doing this.

Any kid who would have to listen to his show should get a free ride some where ..
