As usual, Salisbury was droning on and on yesterday about all the big name movie stars he's hung out with as if anyone cares. Then I had Patrick on later and heard him doing the same thing with Adam Sandler (I think). Which one of these two is better at sucking themselves off for knowing these celebrities? I vote for Patrick because he doesn't apologize for being a smug asshole. Salisbury was then trying to be all humble and talk about how these celebs were such "nice and good people" as if it wasn't completely transparent he was just name dropping. Sean it's painfully obvious you want to try and big time everybody. Just go with it and don't try to pretend you're not.

I'd vote for Salisbury - Patrick makes it part of his act as a self-absorbed jag (whether its an act or not is open to debate, but it is deliberate). I don't think Sean has any idea what a douchebag he sounds like.

I don't know how you can say that about Sean. I mean he comes from a blue collar background. His dad still gets up every morning and works construction. You might not know this because he only has mentioned it a few times.

First of all, if Salisbury's Dad is getting up every morning and working constuction then Sean is a lousy son for not setting up the old man. I'm sure he has the money to put Dad into a comfortable retirement.

Secondly, yeah Patrick it's part of his act to name drop. Sometimes, not always, you get the feeling he knows what he sounds like and is just playing it up. Sean, I don't even think he realized that every guy he interviews he says "we're good buddies right" or "we'll hang out later" He sounds like an insecure 12 year old boy.

This is the main reason I don't understand how Mac can be still supporting him. Hell, even Jurko and Harry don't even come close to this level. Harry at his worst sounds like a fan but doesn't constantly ask for approval that he's "buddies" with the athletes. Jurko was an NFL player and he never does that garbage. How does Sean get away with it when it is so transparent and embarassing? I'd send him an email to let him know but he obviously doesn't care to hear the truth.

Nice one naked - Cakes is big time but that's ok because he hasn't forgotten where he came from especially in a blue collar town like Chicago. Aghhh

Alll these espn jokers are a bunch of aholes.

I remember a few years ago, Patrick had that moron Berman on this show. He asks Berman, 'how does it feel to be America's greatest living sportscaster'.

I wanted to puke.

Anything related with ESPN TV is nothing good.

Dan Patrick. His entire show is about getting these people on the air so he can claim they're his friends.
