Do you use the Stitcher app? WSPN has the podcasts up pretty soon after the show ends. Same with B&B. That way, you can "enjoy" both.

I use the Carolina app which has been great up until Friday. Now they're not showing up early.

Give stitcher a shot. You can categorize all your podcasts (sports, comedians, sports, etc...) and they have a ranking system so you can see what new shows are getting downloaded or which comedian has the most popular podcast. Also, the 30sec skip works wonders for those live reads you don't want to hear...

Agter listening 3 times in the last couple of weeks I think they should rename the show "The Bickersons". They spend more times taking shots at each other than talking sports. I'd be OK with that if the back and forth was funny but it's not. In fact I honestly don't remember laughing at any point while listening. That's why I prefer B&B. Yes they can be mean spirited. Certainly they can beat a subject to death. No question they can come off as smug. But when they are on their game the entertainment level is unmatched. Even on an average day I know I'll have a few laughs. For me W&S is a better option than listening to the 2013 White Sox. But not by much.

I've been one of the few W&S guys here all along- back in my heavy WGN listener days it was hard not to like Waddle, if only because of his pairing with Kaplan. I have not been very faithful since the time switch, conflicting with my work schedule, but soon I'll have the chance to be a regular again- I hope the time slot has not changed the show, I can relate to kinda vanilla, repetitious-bit, workaholic sports guys.

Will we see a S&W Youtube channel from Kid next?

This is a pretty interesting situation that has a broader scope than just one guy bailing on B&B. The Collins show really hit me hard as a listener in that I felt like Dan had a topical hull breach that is perhaps irreparable. My W&S experiences have been limited but not altogether unpleasant, yet when B&B are on it's must-listen, which I feel is a pretty rare thing.

Unfortunately the inevitable decline in B&B has become fully exposed, and their sad attempts at playing both sides of the Silly/Serious coin get flimsier by the day. With Dan in "I'll Say What The Fuck I Want" mode, Drinky and a beleaguered Terry aren't enough to rebuild Rome.

In any case, I hope your decision treats you well, Kid.

Thank you Dewskie and Peeps. It was the Jason Collins stuff from last week that was the final straw. Bernstein was just so obnoxious, particularly the way he treated that last caller in hour 5. I may listen again during Bernstein's vacation days here and there, but that's about it.

Yeah. The caller was trying to have an intelligent conversation with them about the topic and as soon as he mentioned he was a Christian, Bernstein flipped out and started yelling and calling him a bigot. It was really uncomfortable, strange, and unfortunate to listen to.
