Nick Van Exel was a left-handed Dwyane Wade for about two seasons. He was really good when he was good.

He's pretty much Brandon Jennings. I don't want him anywhere near the Bucks.

Van Exel had a much higher basketball IQ than Jennings. And he was a bigger guard.

I liked that Van Exel/Eddie Jones tandem that pre-dated Kobe/Shaq. Those were some fun Lakers teams that were not very good in a stacked Western Conference.

I stand corrected on his height, but I still disagree with the Brandon Jennings comparison. He did shoot the ball, but I remember him having a better jumpshot than Jennings. He also was a better passer/pure point guard than Jennings.
