Dickerson is talking about how things were in the "old days", and tells a story about his hard-drinking grandfather who used to drive his little Honda 98 mph over hill and over dale through the great state of Missouri. One particular time he was driving with his grandkids, doing about 80 mph, and flipped the car into a ditch. The kids weren't wearing seatbelts and all of them went flying out of the windows of the car...along with grandpappy's whiskey bottles.

"Fortunately, nobody was hurt..."

Thought the same thing. 4 kids fly out the windows going 90 mph and nobody is hurt? What? Everybody just hopped back in the car, the old man took a few swigs from his whiskey bottle and they kept on going? This sounds like a story Jeff's Dad made up so Jeff wouldn't drive drunk. Or at least exaggerated the story. You'd think Jeff is wiser now to realize that the story couldn't be true, but he told it like he believed it to be true.

I thought the story was his grandpa driving with his kids back in the 1950s or 1960s. When drunk driving wasn't frowned upon in this country. Not the grand kids. Otherwise Jeff would have been in the car.

As someone who flipped a jeep driving 40-45, it is pretty imrpessive how far a grown man can fly ! solid 25-30 feet, but everyone lived.
