I think the station you're thinking of was called WBEE and was based in Will County or the south burbs.

Cumulus stock closed at 0.035 USD today. I also found a $5 bill on the ground. Should I buy 100 shares and pray for a turnaround?

The music(along with Frankie Beverly) found in lounges all over the South side. Especially the ones where regulars had pimp cups.
