Golic and Wingo will be broadcasting from Austin's on October 12th. I believe all the shows will be broadcasting from there that day as well.

I think Wingo's birthday was one day last week. Hopefully it will be his last.

This is my thought as well when thinking about far north suburban locations. Do they often broadcast on location around the country?

It seems like ESPN has been doing Austen's for years whenever the national shows come to town. I'm guessing they like the stage component of the Fuel Room vs cramming in a corner of the bar. Durty Nellies is the only other suburban place I can think of with that setup currently...Cubby Bear North used to be that way, too.

What kind of sports fan goes to a Golic and Wingo show?

What kind of sports fan has any real use for ESPN outside of college football and being forced to watch Monday Night football on it?

Heard Harry on the radio when I was flipping stations at lunch and almost drove into a tree.

Fuck that guy.

If I lived/worked closer to this event, I would be there.

I was at Austin's for a family thing last Sunday...that was the closest I was willing to get to this.

Drove past it today. As soon as the national guys left it looked like the Olympic village a month after the Olympics.

Firkin is awesome
Mickey Finn's is fine
Morgan's is an awesome dive bar
Casa Bonita has decent Mexican food

They're in the process of opening a Greek restaurant where Salerno's used to be.

If THE BRAND ever went national you could bet your sweet ass he'd be there. Lamentably, I don't think national broadcasters don't know how to recognize galaxy-class talent and therefore it's best to stick with the local scene where everybody knows your naaaame!

Transference is a sign of much deeper issues. How do you think you earned the Creeper Bob title? Damn shame letting your creepy obsession get in the way of your ignorance of one of the greatest songwriters of the last 20 years.

Salerno's is closed??? Fuck. I loved that place.

I stopped by yesterday. Saw Fred, Dellevit, Pastor. Hung out with Jurko and Carmen for an hour or so. It was cool.
