Listened to the latest one. Doesnt seem as edgy as he used to be. But it's still Mariotti so I can listen to it.

I listened to it last week. It’s sort of like an extended version of the CBS guys giving their thoughts on sports topics during breaks on the Score. I agree his edginess has been replaced by the inevitable humbling that a former celebrity accepts when he resorts to a podcast. I suppose it’s better than a giant gap on a resume...perhaps Coppock should join him.

I had no use for Jay Mariotti as columnist, so I doubt I'd find his podcast very interesting. Mac often mentioned that was the best in terms of pen to paper writing (not necessarily thoughts and opinions). Me....I could give 2 shits of one's ability to tell a story or the technical grasp of the English language. If you're a douche and your sports thoughts are bad, your writing isn't going to be very interesting.
