Your cousin seemed to take the pandering view that playing games without fans is "a bad look" and that "we should wait this out and everything is normal again".

I couldn't figure out if he was saying the "right thing" for his audience or if he really believed it. I didn't ask when we continued talking after the show ended. I was on the fence and fighting the urge to go FF on his show.

FF is saying this isn't a big deal. I'm saying even if it IS a big deal we still should go about our business as a society. We NEED to feel normal even if things aren't normal. Not having sports and entertainment increases anxiety and chaos. Not to mention the collapse of commerce and what that entails post-virus.
