I do like his podcast guests. Many a weeknight drive into the City for band we talkin bout practice? Roseanne, Elon, Neil, Dr. Phil, Maynard, Billy.

You may think he's a meathead, but he does a great job making folks comfy and talking.

Only problem I have with him is his podcasts are too long. He frequently goes over 3 hours. I almost never get to the end of them.

He's ok depending on the quality of his guests. The thing I like about him is his push back against the PC police. Howard Stern was still 100 times better than him in his prime, but Howard decided to sell out 10 years ago and his show is now pure soccer mom shit.

I like the diversity of guests. They can be interesting or funny and introduce me to thoughts that I wouldn't be exposed to otherwise. He does a good job of asking questions even when his guest or the material is over his head. He seems honest and reasonable in most of his opinions whether they are based on feelings or facts.

Once you figure out not to be upset about what other people make you will be eminently happier.

Agreed...unless Spotify ends up raising their monthly fees. I thought Spotify's structure paid artists based on number (or duration) of listens. This is the first deal I've heard where someone is guaranteed an amount.

roll of the dice whether podcast listeners who aren't already spotify subscribers will start forking over $10 or $15 or more a month (whatever the increased price ends up being) to get access to Reply All, or the BS Report or JRE or whatever the freaks on the parcast thing are into. Spotify probably sees it as a way to make further inroads into Apple's market share in the podcast space while maintaining or even increasing spotify's market lead in subscription based streaming audio. Most podcast listeners probably already have more subs in their free feeds than they have time to listen to.
