I agree completely. I thought the new gig, and new attention from media would light a fire, and get his creative juices flowing. It hasn't. If anything, he is putting less effort into the show, which I didn't think was possible.

I used to listen to every minute of every show. I never thought the day would come when I have no interest in listening.

i fucking hate elisa jordana. i hate sean ellis. i would rather they just make a channel for howard's old tapes, and i'd prefer listening to that.

i never liked the AGT thing while he still has the radio show because it becomes a distraction. but now with every single caller either being a contestant on that damn show or commending howard for doing it, or just in general kissing his ass...the guests he brings on all kiss his ass (and most are boring)...

the only thing i still like is when they do the news, and any hijinx involving ronnie or JD. i still find them entertaining.

back to elisa jordana who's on right now. you want to talk about a user. this is setting up to be such a stupid bit. first, her voice is grating. second, she's pretty much admitedly using benji to have a music career (and i'm pretty sure she's not any good), and yet she's still being given all the air time she wants.

Howard's lawsuit against SiriusXM was dismissed. If you thought the show was bad before, he is going to be putting even less effort into the show, if that is even possible.

I just had to give the show a listen after hearing the news of his lawsuit being dismissed. He actually thinks that he took "the gamble of a lifetime" by leaving terrestrial radio for Sirius, when he signed a $500,000,000 contract, plus stock options and bonuses. What a fucking douchebag.

If anybody on the board wants to sign me to a half billion dollar contract, I will sign reluctantly, and take the gamble of a lifetime.

At least he isn't talking about AGT.

Eric the Midget is on a roll this morning. 1:45 into the show, after the silliness with Ronnie and the ugly app.

It's sad that I think Eric is one of the best parts of the show, how it hasfallen.

I watched the show tonight and my wife thought he was pretty funny (which is pretty much what he wanted, people who do not like or are neutral towards him to like him). I thought he put more work in for the two hours than he has for the last two years of his radio show.

i didn't watch. i figure it'll be played throughout the show tomorrow and otherwise on youtube. i can't stand "star search" shows. unless it's "stairway to stardom".

I will not watch one second of AGT, and as soon as they talk about it on the radio, I ptfb. That is, when I actually listen.

I've never listened to the Howard Stern show but so far he's been pretty good on AGT.

That he may be, but with his lack of effort and energy that he puts into the radio show, I feel like I have been sold a bill of goods. I paid for Sirius, and he is pissing on his longtime fans by putting almost zero effort into the radio show. He feels under-appreciated at Sirius (I would love to be paid almost 1 billion dollars for ten years worth of laziness), and he is taking it out on his fans.

He probably is more enjoyable on AGT if you haven't listened to the radio show. Stern on AGT is Ruth on the Boston Braves.

i even hate that it's abbreviated...it reminds me of howard's last days on FM when everybody thought they were cool by calling sirius "eh-eh-eh" including his dumbass callers.

the show has just regressed into an abyss of awfulness. every morning i tune in now i hope it's a rerun when artie was there.

if he'd have waited until he retired from radio to do "america's got talent" i wouldn't mind. i still wouldn't watch because talent shows suck the root, but i wouldn't resent him for it.

He has been pretty open in saying he didn't want to work in radio any longer but signed the last contract because the money was too good to pass (or as he says, out of a loyalty to his employees). Once the radio show is gone, he becomes completely irrelevant. He had to make the play for TV now (although he probably had been trying for many years before).

The desperation is apparent in that when he finally had an opportunity to do TV, it was an underwatched show that had already been around for 5+ years. This is not his production.

He needed to sign another contract just to build and maintain his crib in the Hampton's.

As I've been quite negative about the last few years of the radio show, I will never get upset about his wealth. Good for him.

I don't care about his wealth. It doesn't bother me a bit. I'm just pointing out a possible reason why he signed another 5 year deal when his heart clearly isn't into it.

Urlacher's girlfriend, Jenny McCarthy, with some descriptive discussions of her sex life.

She studied oral technique through hours of porn watching. Likes the bare-back action.

Sounds like she and 54 are getting kind of serious.

I'm reporting she learned to love Panda Express due to the time spent at the Hinsdale Oasis. That's love.

The whole relationship is bullshit to get publicity for her new show. I've always thought she was a fraud, including the sex talk

Dating Brian Urlacher generates publicity?

Outside of Chicago, most people probably don't even know who he is.

I am listening this morning. Fred is on his game. He is dropping old school sound bites, while they are making fun of Eric the Ack Actor.

O.J. - "It is an illusion"
Daniel Carver - "I agree with that"

The first hour and half has actually been interesting, but now Richard is in the studio about to smell Sal's cock.

I hated Ralph for many years, but I have done a 180 on him. He is the only one that calls anybody out anymore, now that Artie and Jackie have left.

He would call out Howard and Robin a lot a few years ago. I loved when some of the lesser characters on the show (Ronnie, Scott, Gange, etc.) would get a little too big for their britches, and Ralph would bring them down a notch.

Even though some content was repeated from the last time he was on, loved the interview with Fallon. Entertaining guy and a good interview.
