Horrible.

Good ole JR will not let anyone talk. He constantly talks over people. He constantly interjects his own stories.

Jericho and Stone Cold have really good podcasts.

JR should just hang it up.

Jericho's podcast is fantastic! Good mix of guests. The 2 parter with Heyman and Edge was awesome. SCSA's act gets tiresome pretty quickly to me, and I was a huge fan of his. I can only hear mother fucker used in place of actual vocabulary so many times.

Ross seems to have a pretty surly demeanor away from the mic which I think can be jarring for people who expect good ol JR. But he's an encyclopedia when it comes to wrestling history. I've been catching up on the old Legends of Wrestling panels on the WWE Network and he's pretty good in an environment with 4 other guys to talk with.

20 minutes in and I tapped out. Stone Cold is a terrible interviewer

Was it contentious or is Austin just a bad broadcaster?

Fair enough. I tried listening to one of the interviews he did with Vader a while back but the app kept crashing like 5 mins in and I gave up.

To be honest, I don't really see what would make Austin more interesting listen to than, say, Ross or Jericho. Austin gets good guests but he's never come off as particularly insightful to me. I guess it's the whole shoot-from-the-hip outlaw attitude thing Austin puts out there.

Wow okay, I take that back. I can see how Austin would be more entertaining than that.

My favorite Goldberg memory was when he beat Raven for the US Title. I think that was like his 100th win or something. I hated Raven and the flock...

My favorite was that time he punched through a glass window and legit fucked his hand up.

Maybe? I think Hogan might have been gone by then but my memories of Hogan and Goldberg's runs after the end of the streak is kinda sketchy. Except for that time that Bret Hart called out Goldberg and pinned him in under 5 minutes on Nitro

I finally gave this a try this week, listened to the shows with Lance Storm, Cornette, and AJ Styles. Not bad, imo, although all the criticism is entirely valid. JR talks over people too much, especially bad with Styles, and definitely hits the same 5 points every show it seems. For me, the biggest issue I had was that, whether its a joke or not, JR has one hell of an ego when talking about booking WWE.

I think JR needs a co-host, someone who can break up his rants from time to time and offer different opinions as well. Too much of the show is guests agreeing with JR.

Again, didn't dislike it but it's not as good as it could be. Less talk about today's product and more old stories would be better.

Jr's show with Schiavonne was pretty good. It didn't seem like he was talking over Tony and they had a good chemistry.

Jericho's last few shows have been very good. Both Batista episodes last week were solid and his first part with HHH this week was even better.

Can't wait for part 2 on Friday.

How's Speeps jr doing? he hate you yet :) ?

I've put JR and Austin's podcasts in rotation for the past few weeks. Not bad but not great. Austin with Foley, PS Hayes, and Heyman were all pretty enjoyable. Austin on his own gets old, same with Ross. JR's interviews are surprisingly lacking in depth sometimes.

I tried Jericho but it wasn't my cup of tea. Too much crazy voice stuff and he did a lot about Fozzy and I think Fozzy is terrible. Maybe just picked a bad episode. The interview with Jake and DDP was fun but the rest was rough, I almost tapped out 5 mins in.

With Jericho's podcast, you almost have to skip the first 15-20 minutes and just get to the guest.

And then turn it off after the guest is done.

Jericho off by himself is pretty bad.

Give the Batista and HHH ones a go.

Will do.

And I feel like the same could be said of JR and Austin as well. In fact, I literally skipped the first 20 mins of the Schiavone episode of the Ross Report because I'm tired of hearing about how the Undertaker should have been booked at WM30 or how RoH needs to slow down and sell more. Of course that still left 10 minutes of JR talking before Tony came on. Then I tuned in to Austin's podcast to hear him talk for 10 minutes about getting "hey diddle diddle" stuck in his head on the toilet and wondering just what in the hell that sum-bitch was all about.

just finished Jerichos 2 part interview with HHH.

Outstanding.

I doubt I listen to JR's podcast every again unless it is just a very special interview.
