He appears to be drunk, heavily medicated, or pre-stroke this morning on Game Day. Dude can't talk or complete a thought. It's been an odd show...

With all that said though, I'll probably miss him when eventually he's gone. Great player in his day, not-so-great as a head coach (though never given the keys to a big-time power).

He's been that way for a few years.

Corso always reminded me of a caffeine-maddened woodchuck.

He actually did have a stroke about five years ago and has been in a slow decaying spiral for years now. Never liked his schtick or the whole GameDay circus. Fowler's a knob and Herbie is a pretty boy Kaplan type.

From nolefan.org -- bold added for emphasis:

"Lee Corso came to Florida State in 1953 as one of the most highly recruited players in Florida history. He starred on both offense and defense on the football field leading the Seminoles in interceptions in 1954, rushing in 1955 and passing in 1956. He was the FSU career interception leader with 14 until Deion Sanders tied him in the late 1980's. He was honorable mention All-American(Associated Press) as a senior in 1956 and selected to play in the Blue-Gray All-Star game."

It's true that Bill Mallory showed us how to coach IU correctly -- as opposed to what we had to endure before -- but that's no reason to run down Corso overall.

Now, that's a show.

the man sells pencils. That would drive anyone crazy. Do you really need anything more than a website to take pencil orders?

He sucked. Couldn't run, couldn't catch the ball, never had his head in the game.

Wait, that was Lee Torso.

Have always liked him, but it is time. He can't complete a single thought anymore.
