Over the years of listening to sports radio a few speech impediments / verbal ticks have been pointed out by others.
I had never noticed them but once I was aware it's total fingernails on the chalkboard.

David Schusters inability to pronounce the R in the word eveRybody was pointed out to his face by Mac and Spiegs but he still does it.
The #1 customer at LA Tan does it so often that I've come around to enjoying hearing him struggle eVeytime he does it.

A caller recently pointed out the White Sox GM's odd tick which drives me insane.
Every other sentence he does a slight pause and then breaks into some weird Gregorian chant before he starts speaking again.

This morning driving in NBA guru Adrian Wojnarowski was on with M&H.
I had turned it on mid-interview and didn't recognize the voice right away.
I laughed to myself that wow this idiot caller has said the word "listen" at least 5 times in 30 seconds.
Once they said it was Adrian W. my mind was blown that I had never noticed that before.
Either he's always done this and I never noticed it or he was having a mild stroke.

Back in the day How I Met Your Mother had a really good episode where people never notice habits of others but once pointed out it drives them insane.

I was in the car today when Spiegs and Barry had Adrian W. on so I played the "Listen" game.
I stopped counting at 15.

I know someone that uses "right" the same way. One day he spoke for less than 10 mins and said "right" over 100 times.
