Why wouldn't the beat reporters be there? They don't travel to the draft location for the draft. They hang around at Halas Hall during the draft waiting for Poles to talk after the picks. Cuz Poles and Eberflus are at Halas Hall during the draft. That's always the case. So bad thought by Parkins. The beat reporters will be around.

So Parkins's logic is that the Bears moving to Arlington Heights is no big deal because it's just down the street, but reporters can't get from Soldier Field to Lake Forest in a day. God this guy's so fuckin' good, the new king of New York media.
