Looked like the deflection on the 3rd and 7 made Fields pass more accurate--like it was headed behind the receiver and the defender deflected it directly to Claypool, who was too shocked by the accuracy of the resulting pass to complete the catch.

And the drop was beneficial, because Claypool would have lost 3 yards if he caught it and then immediately got creamed.
