See this? This is a big goddamn indictment.
Frank doesn't care. And really Frank here represents a shit load of bears fans.
I decided to make money off them losing. That's crazy I'm a bears fan! And I knew this season would be agony so I bet on them to lose so I could enjoy the games. That's the only way I could enjoy this season. That is fucked up.

I don't think the ownership realizes a lot of fans feel this way. They are tone deaf. In their minds, people will always love the Bears no matter what.

Well, they have. Bears fans have stuck by this team through a lot of underachievement. But now nine misses in ten years, six misses in a row, and three last-place finishes in a row might have finally gotten people to peace out on this shitshow of a team.

It seems odd to me that the coaches given the least to work with were the ones that were fired. The Bears really had a big pile of nothing at CB this year beyond Porter. Magazu was missing his projected starter at C, RG, LG for a good portion of the year. He developed a rookie who never played center into a competent starter. He coached backups into acceptable starters.

but Loggains gets to stay despite good options being on the open market

This was always a frustration in the Lovie era as well

All signs point to a guy going through the motions.

But those records are still at the bottom end of the "blob." What if they go 2-14? Or, if Fox's statement comes true and they do "better" at 4-12?

Will people still use the same excuse for Fox that we've been getting about Cutler (he doesn't have the right pieces around him)?

Fox still needs four wins to tie Marc Trestman.

Bears rank 5th in the NFL in avg yards per play.

The redzone is where three things become exposed very quickly:

Poor protection
No difference makers
Weak armed QB's

Loggains offense averaged a half a yard per play more that Gases's did. With arguably less to work with.
