And of course, I had the wrong guy. Kyle Shanahan is who Florio mentioned. He was Jay's guy in Denver.

McDaniels and Cutler do not get along from what I remember due to the former head coach's preference for Tebow.

McDaniels is why Cutler wanted to be traded.

Unfortunately there's probably little to no trade interest in a soon to be 34 year old quarterback that's been often injured & never lived up to his potential.

I don't think anybody would trade for this bum, Zona already said " no interest"

Vlade Divac bragged that he could have traded DeMarcus Cousins and a first round pick for Cutler if he wanted to.

Why would any team give up picks when they know Fox/Pace are done with him?

I can see why they would want to get out in front of this. The bidding war to trade for him is going to be huge. I hope George upgraded Pace to an unlimited cell plan.

I'd say there's about a 2% chance Jay is a starter week 1 by anybody, he's a bum and if he's in the league , it's as a backup. Nobody is going to give us dick for him, if he's too proud to hold a clipboard, he'll retire, nobody is bringing this buster in as a starter.

Someone will think they can fix him, especially since Gace sorta did for awhile.

What team? There aren't that many open jobs for starters.

Hell, I don't know. I'd have to look. There's just always a team who will take a chance on big arm guys. There were teams ready to give Jeff George another shot when he was old as hell.

Newper: Beardown, you should stick to dialogs involving sports radio, because if you think any team will trade anything meaningful for Cutler, you should be an instructor at IMC.

Beardown:

Looking like nobody wants this buster.

On pure talent alone, yes he should be a starter on a NFL team, but it's a bit nuanced.

If you signed a 34 year old Cutler, your QB situation is not good and you are going to be looking for your next young QB. Cutler brings a lot of baggage in through you doors. Hell you are better off signing a Brian Hoyer like QB during the transition.

He's going to have to take a backup job somewhere if he still wants to play.

Yes. And the sky is blue, the grass is green, and the Knicks play in New York. Thank you for the insightful analysis.

i havent seen anyone write cutler is even able to pass a phyiscal yet... the injury and surgery he went through is no joke... is that part of the reason why he is unsigned...? because if he could pass a physical, cutler would be an elite backup QB in this league (he's probably still the 20ish best starting QB in this league if you needed a QB to play right now)

He probably thinks he is worth a ton. If he were asking for the vet minimum, I bet he would be signed.
