Peyton Manning was in the the same boat. Almost impossible for any team to take on that cap hit. Easier to cut and rework.

Honestly, Cowboys are being nice by cutting him. He's a cap hit anyway and an ideal backup. Dak could get hurt or go through a sophomore slump. Dak could also be a one year wonder like Kap or Nick Foles.

lol @ wanting Romo. The Bears need a ground up rebuild. Would be pointless to grab him. They need to grab a QB with one of their top picks and go from there.
