If the Bears trade for Garapollo, they will have to give up the whole farm like they did with Cutler---two first rounders. Why would they want to revisit that awful mistake that set them back 10 years?

I would rather have them make a play for Cardale Jones, who Buffalo is looking to start next season.

"When all is said and done, the Bills could very well determine their best move is to swallow hard and stroke the check for Taylor. Otherwise, they might be inclined to follow through with a plan that is thought to be appealing to at least one member of their hierarchy, General Manager Doug Whaley, and that is going with Cardale Jones as the starter."

You're talking about a guy who never lost a college game and who has all the athletic ability to compete in the NFL. Plus, he ain't gonna get hurt like a Romo or Garapollo.

Let's face it, the Bears and their white ownership have something against black quarterbacks. They've only played four in their entire history---Kordell Stewart, Henry Burris, Jason Campbell, and Vince Evans---and none of them were starters.

I won't go so far as to say that was the worst post in the history of the board but that certainly deserves a place. There is no one sentence that you created that isn't jam packed with stupid suck.

The bears could get JG for their first round pick, I don't think Pace is that dumb though..nobody is giving up 2 firsts and a third.

The Bears just need to wait a year for the QB heavy draft next year, Hoyer and Barkley can fill the void for one year..plenty of holes to fill in the mean time.

Yes. That is one name I never thought would be brought up as a possible Bears QB.

Absolutely Correct. It is certainly in the team photo.

If the Bills were willing to take Cutler I'd be willing to take Jones.

The Bears should trade for Sam Bradford!

Did you call the score the other day with this idea? Someone did and the response -- I think it was from Jason -- while less abrupt then these here -- was basically the same thing.

Have you read Good dolphins baseball thoughts the last 2.5 years? Hell, today he said Shields would be a valuable trade piece in August.

The Cubs traded Scott Feldman for Jake Arrieta. Stranger things have happened.

What vitriol, and you're still wrong.

Undefeated in college and beats #1 Alabama, crushes Wisconsin. If Jones can show he can put up 42 points against an Alabama defense, he can beat NFL defenses.

How many QBs do you see his size that not only have touch and the ability to make the the finesse throws, but can run? And not just run, but run people over? Plus, he's got the super quick release.

Cutler couldn't make finesse throws. They were too often over receivers heads or in the dirt.

Buffalo perceives the talent. That's why they're going to start him. You all know better than this GM? Last time I checked, Buffalo was doing better than the Bears.

The Bills are actually one of the few NFL teams that have been worse than the Bears.

I'd rather have Bert Jones.

Also,I hope Hoyer is back with the Bears as a backup at least:
