Unless he is traded, this will go down as the biggest bust in Bears draft history. To justify the picks given up, he needs to be Pro Bowl level QB for many years.

What a travesty - unless he is traded for a bigger package than what they gave up.

Meanwhile, the Jets just landed Jamal Adams, who probably will be a Pro Bowl Safety for 5+ years.

Da Bears.

Wow. Cleveland is trying to trade for Kirk Cousins. This is real.

Cleveland getting desperate. Let's hope!

No one does but it's a prediction and given what they paid, he has to be a multi-year Pro Bowl QB. The price they paid was beyond crazy for a fucking project.

In a draft where trading down is the way to go, Pace trades up 1 lousy pick and gives up 4 picks - are you kidding me.

Yes, most third round and fourth round picks are impact guys that make Pro Bowls for five+ years. You have to go back to 2003 and Lance Briggs to find a big impact Bears draftee from the third/fourth round.

Take a look at the 3rd round picks from 2015. Who's the best player from that group, Tevin Coleman?

if bears rumored trade to Cleveland. At 12 for (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky and picks and get Watson, he's now cheaper at 12 then (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky was at 2

Umm, what about Howard just last year? And this is faulty logic anyway. 3rd & 4th rounders regularly make an impact. Just because previous regimes have missed doesn't mean it's a given on a team with as many needs as the Bears.

And the 2nd or 3rd overall pick can't be a miss, so unless he's a Pro Bowl level QB for many years, he's a bust. If he is a mediocre starter for 8 years, who gives a shit.

Let's hope he is traded within the hour.

Jordan Howard was drafted in the 5th, try again.

Cleveland trades down to 25 essentially telling Pace to fuck off.. Looks like Bears are stuck with Tru-Busty.

Wow. Overplayed their hand badly.

Typical Bears.

Please tell me who is hitting with regularity on 3rd and 4th rounders and how they are similar to the current folks in charge of the Bears draft.

And if the Bears are so good at identifying 3rd and 4th round talent, wouldn't it be logical they would be good at identifying 1st round talent?

His point still stands unless you are taking the very bold stance that 5th round picks are more valuable than 3rd and 4th round picks.
