I never have read such over-the-top nonsense in all my life.

Why can't it be understood here that he played well against 3s and 4s and not a defense that was preparing for him?

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky can throw a sideline route and on the run fairly well, but those are a common qualities at QB in the NFL, not marks of greatness.

Can he actually read pro defenses and adjust to what's being shown him? I've seen no evidence of that.

Marino arm strength? You're joking, right?

Time to curb the enthusiasm.

I saw nothing in Sanchez's play that was lacking in the first game. He put the ball where it should have been caught, and the all-world rookie TE dropped an easy one.

Let's face it---Sanchez got the shaft by only getting two series, because the GM didn't want him showing up his two pets.

Sanchez isn't playing much because he is a backup and he sucks.

You were the guy saying that Matt Barkley was the future for the Bears are QB, so clearly your evaluation skills are terrible.

Matt Barkley is still playing in the NFL, so apparently they're not.

Because the Bears let Peppers go, was he terrible too? Or Gould, when we have no kicker?

You put your foot in your mouth.

Against the Chiefs 2s, not 3s and 4s.

His throws on the run and accuracy aren't common.

You sure? Packers QBs have been commonly making those throws for 25 years.

Exceptions.

Favre >> Rodgers

Nope. Favre was great but Rodgers has him beat in stats and regular and playoff winning percentage. Favre's one SB win came playing on an all time great team.

We will never agree unless Rodgers plays at a high level for another 10 years and wins another ring. Rodgers stats don't matter. If I had to pick a QB to play for my life I would pick Favre over Rodgers every day of the week. No knock on Rodgers. #NotTrolling

Fuck Gould, he lost us 3 games his last year here.. He's mouthy too.. Nobody wants to hear a kicker or punter say shit.

Gould went a perfect 10 for 10 in 2016 with the Giants. But don't let facts get in your way.

10 for 10 on chip shots, not one over 47 yards... Yeah, facts.

Last time I checked, a 55 or 60 yard field goal counts for as many points as a 47 yard field goal.

Do you complain, too, that Rizzo's home runs don't go far enough?

MANY on this board did that about Abreu.

Rodgers always chokes and even when trailing you always felt Favre could comeback and win.

Rodgers always chokes

He's already won a title and has more game winning Hail Mary throws than every other QB in the league combined.

You are really thick, if Gould can't hit a 50 yard fg and you must punt or go for it. He's lost nearly all his value.

You are. The only person saying he couldn't make a 50 yard field goal is you. The stats show he didn't have any attempts at that distance, which doesn't mean he can't make a plus 50 year field-goal.

Then you make the idiotic comment he's lost all value, when he was perfect last year and he is still employed. He's on a new two-year deal with the 49ers. TWO-YEAR!!

Does the same logic hold true for 80-yard attempts? Why or why not? No kicker in the league last year tried an 80-yard field goal, but that doesn't mean it can't happen, right?

The bears just signed a guy who can't hit from 50 too, being employed proves nothing, he didn't attempt anything from over 47 for the giants last year because he doesn't have the leg anymore.

You guys are clowns.

Gould is the 7th most accurate kicker of ALL-TIME, and was the Bears most accurate kicker, but somehow he has no value after being perfect last year.

How about the reason he didn't attempt any over 47 is because the Giants are better on offensive than the Bears, that Gould didn't have to??

And you look ridiculous playing the devil's advocate, talking about 80 yard fields goals. Get real, meatball!
