So what does Pace do if Fox decides to play Tubatoothpasteski? Further, what if the kid looks great? Is Pace gonna say 'no'? There would be a revolt.

Pace can certainly pressure Fox to play Glennon, and continue to position it as the best way to develop MT.

I'm sensing another year of red zone FG's.

Mods please delete.

Glennon has more happy feet than Steve Martin's drug days.

Agreed right now.

Let's say Glennon gets kicked in the dick mid 3rd-quarter week 3 and needs the rest of the game off to pray. Mitch comes in and just lights the joint up - if Fox says he's playing Mitch to see what he's got, Pace can't come down on the field and take over - and if Mitch looks like Elway, Pace would be ill advised to say 'boo', I think.

NOT saying I advocate playing Trib just because ... it was more a thought that in live conversation might've been interesting but in this thread is fucking boring and I'm sorry I brought it up because even I'm tired of it.

Wait until teams game plan for Glennon's ass in the regular season. Not this vanilla defense shit in the preseason. (Sign of the cross for him)

He won't be in the NFL next year. It's gonna be bad.

Why the hell do people tweet that shit they show?

It's really no different than Homer's "Dear Die Hard," letter.

Most if not all, yes, I would think so.

I hope not. He should get one series. What the hell do the coaches need to see from him? He's started 70 games in the NFL. He is what he is. He certainly won't get better vs 2nd teamers.

I don't think he should play at all. But Fox said he will play.

Fair. I'm calling Eddie Jackson if dude stays healthy and keeps playing -I think I'm the only one that liked the pick.

Let's "pretend" Glennon gets kicked in the dick in the 1st-half of this stupid game...

Agreed. Honestly if it were my call he wouldn't play at all tonight. Just give the 2nd half to our guy Mitch.

But we don't call the shots, so I'm wondering what the coaches wind up doing.

170 yards a game is not "good numbers" for a QB.

There's a protocol before the best players on the Bears have ever been allowed to play.
