What would the number be set at? Around 8.5?

I'd go under

I'll take 9. Five to start. Four after Mitch is injures by shirty field conditions.

Before pre-season games, I thought Glennon would start 13, they'd get to 5-8, and then they'd let Mitch start @DET, CLE, @MIN to finish the season. At this point, I think (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky definitely starts week 13 (game 12) against the 49ers. I'd put the O/U at 11.5.

He won't start until they've played the Packers both times, which would be games 4 and 9. So maybe he starts game 10 at home against Detroit.

Under. I think he'll start at least 4 games -I had previously thought injury would do him in due to his statue like qualities and his slow set up and delivery (and that still might be his demise).. but now I think it will just be pure awfulness that does him in. This guy cannot make NFL throws.

That said, I think they'll go with Sanchize after Glennon because the Bears look like they could have a good defense and good running game that a game managing vet QB could aide in not screwing up -and maybe they wind up winning some close ones and staying in the hunt as a result.

I hope Mitch plays sooner rather than later tho. Just throw him out there as soon as possible and let the process of learning start now. Some people are concerned with 'ruining' him by doing that. I call bullshit on this idea tho -if he sucks and never recovers (ie ruined) then that just proves he isn't the guy in the 1st place, and the sooner you can figure that out, the sooner you can move on and try to find the real deal instead of dragging that process out.

I agree with this. Manning wasn't great his first season. He threw a ton of INTs and went 3-13 but he turned out OK. You either have the right mental makeup or you don't.

Still going under on this. His inability to sense any rush is going to get him destroyed.

He'll have fewer pics than Cutler but his yards per throw will always be <6 with all the short throws.

No one to pass too. The primary reason you shouldn't play (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky.

i actually thought this guy was decent had potential.... there isnt much there... unless you provide a clean pocket... but most QB's can deliver a pass with a clean pocket.

Hrm, I would go more with the fact he is so inaccurate. Cant make a fast decision, throws behind teh receivers all the time (3 of the 4 attempts at the end of ATL shows it pretty well - even howards miss was behind him) Miller miss was behind him, I saw this all pre season as well except the third game. This tends to get WR hurt and INT 's occur.

he also stares down his primary target and rarely goes to the 2nd or 3rd. This is what ultimately will get him booted off the field.

How many times has he overthrown a receiver? how about that swing out play wide open and over the head....

Yea ill pass on this guy - he obviously isnt accurate enough and cant make a quick decision.

If Glennon doesn't get killed first, he'll start through the second Packers game. Then Mitch will start the rest of the way.

That was my original thought before pre-season games, and I'm back to it and sticking with it.
