Also, I would think that with Glennon and (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky's lack of experience, they'd want them to have a peer who has experienced success as a starting QB in the league to help mentor. (Success being a relative term)

Yeah the defense is more than good enough to win 5 or 6 games even if the offense sucks. I would prefer to get (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky a competent target before throwing him to the wolves.
