I guess the Bears don't need 2nd round picks to step on the field and produce.

He's big, great. But he's not beating up on division II linebackers that are 5'11 215 and run a 5.1 40, anymore.

Would have been nice to have a 7 foot guy to throw the ball to in the red zone.

Any time you can redshirt your first AND second round draft picks, you have to take that opportunity. Who needs top 3 picks in the first two rounds to produce for you in the NFL?

Exactly what I was thinking yesterday! Pace has top picks not producing and he has totally screwed up at not finding a WR.

Was Brandon Marshall THAT GOOFY?

Pace fucked up by letting Jeffrey walk for nothing. He also should have aggressively gone after a rising stud like Terrell Pryor. This is on him.

He truly believed that White was going to be good and was just really unlucky with injuries.

Jeffery was fine to let go, but expecting Kevin White to stay healthy or be any good was stupid. That left leaving all their eggs in the Cam Meredith basket, which could have gone wrong for any number of reasons.

I wish they'd gone after Pryor too. They certainly had the money.

It was a horrific pick from day 1. He was a one route receiver in a gimmick offense at WVU. He then threw on some shorts and ran a fast 40 and I guess that made him a top 10 pick?

Which is where the holding call on Bellamy would have come into play.

Now the Falcons have to respect the chance of a run from the 1yd line. Without it, they don't have to play man.

Kevin White could not read an NFL playbook from Day 1. When healthy, I'm not even sure what he brings.

Alshon was just a guy. He wasn't the answer either.

Most people that draft a rookie QB gets him a WR to help with his development. The Bears don't have a starting caliber WR.

Yes. And Marshall wasn't doing jack shit for the New York Football Giants last night either.

Pace should have done what he could to keep Alshon. He also has to hit on his picks, no excuse to be 3 years into this and picking guys with your first few picks only for them not to see the feild. This 'smartest guy in the room' shit needs to stop. He got lucky with Cohen imo.

You will all be loving Shaheen by the end of the year.

50 catches. 24 TDs.

But where is the starting center or alleged Pro Bowl guard? Sitting next to the ridiculously overdrafted TE.

The GM that can't find 2 WRs is a blind idiot, like I said 3 years ago.

The offensive guru can't even put in plays that find the average pro TE already on the roster and this kid will be anything other than a flat out bum?!?

Maclin had a 48 yard TD yesterday, 47 of which were YAC. I don't believe Pace ever even inquired.

And the Rams got Sammy Watkins for next to nothing from the McCaskey organization in Buffalo.

I would have definitely tried to bring in Watkins. I know he has had a couple of injuries BUT when he's on the field he has been a stud.

Alshon didn't want to stay.

White and Grasu are both busters.

Watkins with an unbelievable catch. He'd likely be the best WR in Bears history.

The best WE in Bear history is who? Johnny Morris? Dennis McKinnon?

I was joking but he's the #3 WR in yds

That's sad.

Fuck. Do yourself favor and avoid the football reference page for bears WR. It's making my stomach hurt. Hester is 20th all time in yds.
