Ehh... that's been the mantra for years. This team is talented enough (with the exception of receivers) that it's time to develop a winning culture. You become the Jaguars after awhile if you don't.

The lows of the Bears franchise history are as bad or worse than any part of the Jags 20 plus year existence.

I honestly think the preferred losing mantra has only been prevalent for a year or two anyway.

You're right the team is cultivating talent, but one more draft picking towards the top of nearly every round would be extremely beneficial to the overall depth.

Bad play calling is still bad play calling. He's sending those receivers to the same area of the field on plays like that so Mitch doesn't have to spend much time looking around making reads -that's not how you beat a defense in passing situations, and it's not how you develop a young QB and get him used to going thru actuall progressions thru repetition.

I'm not simply wondering why they don't throw more -im wondering why they don't throw more in certain situations. Seems to me, OC's -the good ones- know how to keep an offense in rhythm, and more importantly realize when it's in rythm. Immediately defaulting to handoffs on the back of big passing plays seems to kill the momentum. That's just my observation in this particular game.
