There's parity in the NFL because for the most part individual players don't need to be freakishly talented to excel at their positions. Levels the playing field.

Accumulating talent doesn't mean much in a league where guys are knocked out for the year all the time. Anyway, schemes and coaching make up for talent deficits more often than not. I can't think of the last time the "most talented" team won it all. I don't even think we use that term that often in the NFL.

I think it's the teams that get the most talent for the best price in regards to the cap. Teams that hit on #1s and get 4th and 5th rounders who contribute.

Some of it is coaching.

after I was sitting in the stands baking in the sun for the whole first half... my first reaction upon seeing him slow down early was maybe he was just exhausted because it was too fucking hot
