I feel more sorry for people from Illinois who hate themselves so much that they have to root for a team from Wisconsin.

The Packers and Rodgers did exactly what they wanted to do. They got up by a few scores and then tried to end the game and limp off to the bye week when they can hopefully get their o-line put back together. I'm surprised 12 threw as much as he did though I think that last td drive was a fuck you to trevathon. There was some anger and purpose to that drive that seemed to have been lacking earlier.

The Bears better turn this around before we move up to Wisconsin. Not sure I can go out in public with the franchise in this condition.

Hard to believe, but the Bears have won 14 coin flips in a row. Maybe they should change it up and go on offense first instead of always deferring. Then again, maybe not.

I'm surprised by how many non Bears fans I find out here. Still minority but those 49ers teams in 80's seemed to grab a lot of people that are my age. I thought i had moved near packer country for a while when I first moved here as this one town always had what I thought was packer gear everywhere. Turns out Geneseo just cooped the uniform.

I have relatives that are Cowboys and Packers fans. Sad.

The Bears may not have won the game but the Packers felt it the next day.

When Hamp and OB say the hit was sickening and that Travathan should be suspended, you know it was bad.

In real time, I thought he was dead. Far worse than the Wilbur Marshall hit on Joe Ferguson.

Alex Brown, Lance Briggs and Big Cat Williams said it was a "clean" play.

He should be glad that he was taught a life lesson only football can teach you.

Wonder if he'll get suspended more games than if he deflated a football.

If I'm in the league office, the last thing I want to do is reward the guy by suspending him from playing on this team.

That said, I'm too old to see that and not think 'friggin' awesome hit' thought I'm perfectly cognizant that's no good for any human to endure and just feel terrible for the should-be-dead guy.

Which makes one wonder ... what if they guy had died right there on the field? Does the NFL have at least some semblance of a protocol in place for such a thing? One one hand, you'd think they'd have to have something ... otoh, can you really have something in place for something like that?

It's like Disney World where you wait until he is off property to declare him dead and then run commercials about how you love families.

trevathan should have been a fighter pilot or something with his superhuman ability to instinctively judge the speeds, directions, and accelerations needed to nail the guy right the top of the helmet.

The way they so quickly reacted around him I thought seriously he might have been decapitated.

Ironic that he also lacerated Mac's kidney.
