Do you have the capability to watch a VHS? I still have a VHS of game 7 of the 1982 World Series but don't have the means to watch it.

VHS was great because it was portable too. I could take it to a friends house and watch what was on it.

Can you do that w/ DVR? If you record something it just stays on your box right? no way to transfer it?

I believe I have the two 1985 season Play-off games and Super Bowl all on vhs tape including all the old commercials. I no longer have a vcr so if someone was interested in them maybe we could work something out and I could pass them along.

There are ways to get VCR tape onto a DVD. I don't think its crazy expensive either, like $25 per tape. Just have to find a recording studio or old school kind of video store that offers the service.

It was fun watching this game again. I have the DVD of this game so I've seen it for the 3rd or 4th time now. But still cool seeing it on NBC this Sunday.

What are your memories of watching this game when it happened? Where were you?

I was an my Aunt's house. My parents were out of town that weekend. So they were babysitting me and my sisters that weekend.

I remember they threw me in a separate room with my two sisters to watch the game. Cuz they were throwing a party. They were loud. I remember my Uncle asked me if I wanted to watch with them. I said no. I wanted to concentrate on the game. Didn't want to be with the adult drunks. My older sister hung out at the party area. My little sister watched with me in that separate room. So it was just me and her.

So I didn't get to watch the game with my parents. I was cool with that.

Because my Mom and Dad were at the New Orleans Super Dome on that Sunday.

It's just dawned on me that that's true for me as well. And it's not really close
