He didn't look impressive. He's shown flashes of talent but has struggled mightily to move the ball through the air and score points.

So you're saying Mike Glennon is a better option... and as you said you haven't watched a snap.

Where did he say Glennon is a better option?

LOL

I stand corrected. The man threw a touchdown pass. The passing attack is just fine, folks.

He doesn’t look like a QB that will make a team better. Looks more like a QB who can look good on a good team because his team is good.

Better at what? I'm not trying to troll Bear fans here. There's a lot to like about (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky. There's also good reason others would find him unimpressive so far. His objective results so far have not been good.

Easy there Bernstein.

I mean he's right though. If your takeaway from Trubiski is "not impressed" then you are either trolling or a fucking idiot. It's really that simple. He's working with nothing, and playing smart football. How many QB's in the league right now can make that throw he did to Sims? The sky is the limit.

I don’t troll. And to call people idiots for having a different opinion is Score-esque. I am hopeful that he will become a Pro Bowl quality QB. But he hasn’t been impressive. A few nice plays and some maturity in not trying to do too much.

Who is (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky throwing too? Sims is awful, and some of these Bears WRs wouldnt have made an XFL roster.

What are the expectations of a rookie QB with the worst receiving corps in football who only threw 16 times? Was he supposed to throw for 300 yards?

You have to just watch and see his skill set, and it is very good.

He's got no weapons though..you have to admit that. It's like you trying to invest without 2-3 million in liquid cash.

How bout get the completion percentage above 50%. We can start small.

The "Hes got no weapons" argument is being overstated quite a bit. His WR corps is as bad as the Bills, Jets, and Browns. But he has decent TEs and one of the best backfields in the league.

Still had a 94 qb rating and threw for 7.4 yards per attempt. Glennon was sitting around 4 because everything was underneath dumps.

What were your expectations if this is far exceeding them?

He has the potential to be great and of course he is a rookie but so far it hasn't really shown on the field. Hopefully it is the other guys but then they need to fire Pace.

Uh he's definitely shown it on the field. The numbers aren't great, but he's obviously talented. He's made some pretty nice plays.

How bout those bad snaps, especially the one in the end zone, where (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky had to pick it up and run beyond the hashes to throw it away? I don't think Glenda could have done that, and excepting that pass to Kendall wright those were the most important plays of the game!

Also I'd say I had some 2005-orton flashbacks with some of the 1H passes thst were 5ft over the receiver's heads... Mitch missed sims being open a couple times (tho one was a ~20yd run so you take thst) and overall I'd say he looked more like a rookie in game 2, but that said you gotta like his raw skills and, dare I say, his body language thus far (especially compared to the last guy =)

This is the worst group of Wide Receivers I've ever seen. Remember when it was Hester, Rashied Davis and Booker and we thought it was bad?

Watch the Bills next week. Or don't, if you don't need to take a nap.

At least Booker had good hands. Hester, if nothing else, could run fast which automatically stretched the field.

Right meow, I would rather see (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky working on protecting the ball and getting rid of it quicker in order to avoid sacks rather than getting his comp% up.

I wouldn't be too worried since it's just first two pro games against very good defenses(sorry Bob, Minnesota has a good defense). But he needs to get his completion % up regardless of surrounding talent and opposing defense. Sub-50% is horrendous.
