I don't think you've expressed a coherent point here. Obviously, the goal of practicing should be to reduce mistakes. So far, (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky hasn't succeeded in doing so. Hopefully he will improve as training camp progresses.

Since the Chiefs donned their pads Saturday, Mahomes has thrown an interception in every practice except Monday, which was a light day in shorts. Later in that drill, on a fourth-and-goal, (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky progressed through his two front-side options and located wide open tight end Dion Sims in the back of the end zone for a touchdown. Great read and patience.

In one on one drills, Prince Amukamara ran stride-for-stride with Anthony Miller deep down the left sideline. But (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky dropped the ball in over Miller’s outside shoulder. It was a tiny window, and the 30-yard throw was exceptional.

Next pass in one-on-ones: (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky hit Burton on an out-cutting route, putting the ball on Burton as soon as the tight end turned his head back to the quarterback. No chance for the defensive back. Completion.

Back in team drills, (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky hit Sims to the post with the perfect amount of zip and touch on a throw over inside linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski. Another completion through a tight window.

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky showed a lighter side at the end of practice. His pass to Kevin White down the right sideline was underthrown — it appeared to slip out of his hand a bit. As White adjusted to the ball, (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky thought his receiver drew pass interference. So he took the towel from his waistband and threw it in the air like a penalty flag.

For as sharp as (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky was Sunday, his streak of being intercepted in every full-speed practice continues. He was picked off twice, but neither detracted from his performance.

Eddie Jackson caught a throw that (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky obviously was just testing deep down the middle against a certain coverage. At end of practice, Hall made a sick one-handed grab on a deep ball down the sideline intended for Burton. All credit to Hall for using his length and hand(s) to make that catch.

Overall, (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky should take some confidence from Sunday. It’s only one practice, but, as Nagy said, a meaningful step forward because of how (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky anticipated throws and threw accurately. That’s a sign (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is getting more comfortable with what he’s thinking and seeing.
