I know that sounds stupid but it's true.

Our QB is showing me signs while making some bad rookie decisions. He makes some great throws and he can move around the pocket and run. Good thing he got the chance to start this year to get the growing pains out of the way. Plus he has no WRs. So you have to consider that and trust that we'll get some.

The defense is top 5. We have a top 5 running game. The O Line is good.

We'll make the playoffs next year.

I feel good about this bad year as opposed to other bad years by the Bears. Bears are on the rise.

That 4th and 12 run for a first down by (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky brought a smile to my face. I loved that. That showed me something about him. Then he made the clutch throw to get us in FG range.

Yeah, it was a loss. Doesn't matter in the big picture. I'm gonna remember this game as a big step for (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky.

Yards and points aren't the way you look at defense as a total. When (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky fumbled the ball today and they scored a TD, that goes against the Bears defense. Same with similar plays this year.

You have to look at short fields and pick 6 TDs by the opposing defense. Bears had 2 games with Glennon where they had these things. And a few bad (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky plays.

Bears are a top 5 defense.

Bears are a top 5 defense.

They are definitely in the top 5 in the NFC North.

Only the Vikings are better then them in the NFC North.

They are 29th in the league in interceptions, 18th in forced fumbles, 27th in passes defended, but they are 4th in sacks. They are ahead of the Vikings there.

What I saw was (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky playing like shit most of the game... Over throwing, bad reads... But, in the last minute, when it counted the most, he did what he had to do to win. Very promising. He plays well in the clutch.
