A good record never stopped Pack fans from wanting McCarthy fired.

He did, and it's nice to see him get what he deserves. 18-4 regular season record and undefeated in the division since LeFleur took over.

Arguably the third best division in football right now

There is a lot of objective evidence he isn't a good coach. I'm particularly angry with leading the league in penalties and being last in the league in points scored in the 3rd. I also seem to remember that he has a terrible record when being given extra days to game plan.

Correct. Nagy is 1-2 in season openers, 0-2 off a bye, and 2-3 coming off Thursday games.

I don’t think it would fix anything, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Nagy is launched tomorrow to allow whoever is interim a bye week to prepare.

It has to be Nagy and Pace.

Firing Nagy does no good if Pace is still around. Just like firing Pace is usless if Nagy is still here.

Either they both go ASAP, or we have to put up with more of the same shit.

this guy was suppose to be an offensive genius. Say he was only 10 percent of the offensive genius we all thought. 10 percent would still be better than this shit we're seeing.

GD's post above is correct. Lots of objective evidence he isn't good on the details.

Disagree. Both probably need to go at this point but Nagy benching Mitch for Foles single handedly cratered the Bears season. It’s on Nagy.

Nagy built the ship. Pace hired the crew. Both are culpable. Both need to go, now.

WTF are you talking about? We lose the Atl game if Mitch stays in.. We lose to TB if Mitch starts.

Neither of those is true and you have a better chance of winning the Colts, Saints, and Titans games if Mitch is the starter instead of the career backup.

The only reason he is coaching next year is if it is a financial decision. Some head must roll. Pace would only have one year left on his deal so he is the more likely candidate. They will force a new GM to keep him for a year.

I wonder if Theo would be interested in some kind of organizational presidency position, where he could get the structure of the entire corporation set straight and find a great GM to concentrate on the on field product?

Wow, Dolphin is now hoping for help from the Cub, so sad.

it is true. It's extremely true. They lose to Atlanta with Mitch. It's over. Season's over. And maybe they win against TEN? But not the other two. And they don't win against the Vikings either.

Turned on the Score a few mins ago and the first thing I hear is Bernsie saying something about Nagy having a temper tantrum today? Anyone know what he is talking about?
