I think that with their schedule, I'll be happy with 8-8. They have a tough schedule.

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky may suck, but at least he won't be dehydrated.

Or have to take insulin shots mid-game.

What were the Bears thinking having a diabetic QB?

I have a friend who is diabetic, and his condition affects him severely. There are times he's a Space Ace from low blood sugar. That must have happened with Cutler, too.

These pro-teams go to such efforts to screen players, but with the Bears they always bring in guys who a chronically injured and can't get on the field, who have diabetes or who are mentally defective (Brandon Marshall).

None of you caught the (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky/Bernstein interview in which our QB repeatedly extolled the virtues of appropriate fluid intake?

It's all about having fun and staying hydrated.

If everything goes right the Bears might get a wild card and their sixth playoff appearance since the election of Bill Clinton.

What about the Proud Tradition they push in every commercial? This generation has no respect for anything they can't remember. The Bears have sucked for a long time with only a minor blip here and there of success. 1985 seems as far away as 2005 for Sox fans who have lived through the Cubs 2016 WSC.

For the first time in 4 or 5 seasons, I have interest heading into the season.

Romo predicts the Jags v. Packers in the Superbowl, saying GB "probably got better maybe more than any team I saw this offseason".

That's great news for Bears fans for week 1.

It would be great news if you could predict a Green Bay Super Bowl

Six playoff appearances since 1992? I honestly didn't think it was that many.

I have to admit, that one was pretty funny.

But you forget that I had the Eagles in the NFC last year. Look it up.

Here's an idiotic statement from the article.

"The secret about the Bears must be spreading, because the bookmakers are giving them 7-1 odds to win the NFC North: much better than you would expect from a 5-11 team sharing a division with Aaron Rodgers'

That's a 14% win probability. How is this much better than what a 5-11 team deserves?

And the secret of the Bears is their "offensive innovation." The Bears were 30th in total offense last year, and now suddenly they're innovative, even before one pre-season game.
