Super Bowl XX was an American football game between the National Football Conference (NFC) champion Chicago Bears and the American Football Conference (AFC) champion New England Patriots to decide the National Football League (NFL) champion for the 1985 season. The Bears defeated the Patriots by the score of 46–10, capturing their first NFL championship (and Chicago's first overall sports victory) since 1963, three years prior to the birth of the Super Bowl.

There's another goddamn movie out about this team, isn't there?

The 85 Bears are the new 69 Cubs in terms of lore.

I was 10 in 5th grade, and played pee-wee football for 2 years...1984 is when I discovered football and clearly remember watching the game when Payton broke the rushing record vs. the Saints, so I had a sense of what was going on. It was an amazing time...32 years ago.

I hope this is the last grasp for the cash...let it fucking go already.

They were also over-rated. Big personalities on a team with an easy path to the Super Bowl.

In fairness the only good team they missed were the Niners, who they'd already beaten iirc.

Imo, they'd have smashed Miami in the return match if small game Danny could've gotten past the Pats.

Only thing that was overrated was the head coach. Should have got 2-3 superbowls out of that squad. How many hall of famers on that team 4? Jimbo Covert should have made the HOF too. Shut down LT in his prime.

There are things you can be critical of that Bears team about, but they were in no way overrated.

You could easily make the case they were overrated. They are on the very short list of greatest teams of all time. That alone makes them acceptable candidates for being called overrated.

Tom Brady is overrated.

It boggles my mind that they could lose the game to Miami, and then film the Super Bowl Shuffle the following day.
