Jimmy Graham would be perfect for Mitch.

Only problem would be that Graham will be 32 this season; Burton turns 27.

Looking at the Chiefs offense, they didn't really have a big name receiving threat. Their TE was the main target in the passing game. I would imagine that is what the Bears will look like this season. Graham would make that happen.

I agree but that's how their offense is set up. The Patriots don't have a true #1 WR, but their best pass catcher is Gronk.

The Patriots have a guy, maybe you have heard of him? Tom Brady!

If Meredith is their #1 then we will be drafting in the top 8 again next year. No excuse for not trying to get Robinson or Watkins.

Why hasn't there been much news on Robinson. I've been checking for a while and can't find anything.

I think there is enough interest that his agent doesn't need to stoke the fire leaking things to the media.

They can always play Shaheen

If this was the plan then Pace needs to be fired for wasting a high draft pick on a TE last year.

Didn't have this coach last year. Shaheen could maybe do it. Getting a Graham on what amounts to a one year deal to show him how wouldn't be the worst thing.

Nothing wrong with having two or even three capable TE on the roster. Graham can line up as WR anyways.

Still wouldn't excuse not coming away with Robinson/Watkins. Though it'd be tough to be upset with a Watkins, Graham, Burton, Wilson haul.

jesus, jimmy graham... really? great red zone target and if that is all you are expecting for one year then fine... but he only played 50% or so of snaps last year, and he looked very ordinary while doing it... cannot block me... i dunno, i mean there is no denying he still is a red zone force and can win 1 on 1 at GL, but that's really all he offers at this point

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Bears and Packers could be suitors for free agent Allen Robinson.

Robinson has now been linked to the 49ers and Browns in addition to the Packers and Bears. New Pack GM Brian Gutekunst could be eyeing 24-year-old Robinson as the team's heir apparent to Jordy Nelson, who appeared to have lost a step in 2017.

Bears interested in Dolphins K Parkey.
49ers challenging Giants for Norwell. Sign that maybe Robinson has made up his mind.
Texans being really aggressive.

After a decade of pretending free agency doesn't exist the Packers are pretty much going to be calling on everyone just to prove that they are trying. Won't be worried until something more substantial gets reported.

Ok maybe worried but I'm at like DEFCON 4 or 5 right now.

I think the new guy is gonna make one big move to show change. I’m hoping it’s Robinson but worried it’s Graham.

They use their RB quite a bit as well.

I saw that both Dion Lewis and Rex Burkhead are free agents. I doubt the Patriots sign both and I would be happy with either playing significant but non featured rolls.

I just have a sneaking suspicion that Howard will not be on the team by this time next year, if not sooner.

It would be easier to teach Howard to catch than to find another runner as talented as Howard. Unless they plan on moving up for Barkley.

The Bears need at least one safety, at least one corner, at least two linebackers, and at least one lineman. They have MANY holes to fill on offense as well, with only a finite amount of draft picks. Once the new league year starts, and the Glennons and Willie Youngs get cut, the Bears will have the smallest roster in the NFL.

This is not an idea situation with Fuller, but at some point you have to start adding guys to your roster. Cap space is great, but that doesn't help score points or make tackles.

Zach Fulton is basically a Bear, so they are working on the OL already.

I can work with Amos/Jackson at safety if they get themselves a corner who can really play.

NFL Network is reporting...12. The Texans are the favorites to sign former Chiefs OL Zach Fulton to a multi-year deal worth more than $7 million per year, Rapoport reported per a source.

I think Robinson is smart and would prefer to play with (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky for 10 to 12 years instead of playing with a guy who continues to have his collarbone glued together for 4 years.

It’s the opposite. He doesn’t want to play with another Bortles for the next 3-4 years.

It's like video game Madden GM'ing. You see a guy 3 years past it on the FA list and say fuck it because you remember when he was a 95 OVR in his prime, even though he's currently a 76 OVR.
